Godsmiths' Fair goes digital this year and is launching a new website to mark the occassion!
www.goldsmithsfair.co.uk features 8 pieces made exclusively for Goldsmiths' Fair 2020 by each exhibiting maker.
There is a packed schedule of fantastic online discussions, lectures and studio visits for you to enjoy from the comfort of your own home over the next 2 weeks.
You can register for the Fair and events here - it's Free and easy.
If you'd like to visit the studio I'm scheduling 1-1 visits, all government safety regulations will be followed and I'd love to welcome you to my space to see and try on my new pieces.
Alternatively I'm also taking bookings for Zoom appointments where I can also show you around the studio and my new work.
Thank you for your generous support of my Seven Day Studio Sale earlier this month, I'm delighted to tell you that I was able to make a donation of £553.13 including GiftAid to Helen and Douglas House hospice in Oxford.
In June it will be 25 years since I set up my first workshop outside of my living room. I was given a start up award by the Clerkenwell Green Association (Craft Central) in 1995 which included subsidised workshop space in Clerkenwell, London and a generous package of business support, I'm very grateful for this helping hand as I started out.
I will celebrate the moment at some point this year and you'll be the first to know!
I continue to be busy working on commissions and new work for Goldsmiths' Fair which is still scheduled to take place in the autumn. I'll be exhibiting in week 2 at Goldsmiths' Hall 29th Sept - 4th Oct. See a full list of exhibiters over both weeks of the Fair here
Thank you for your ongoing interest in and support for what I do, please feel free to share this with anyone you think might enjoy it and if you'd like to see more of what I'm up to you can find regular updates on Instagram where I'm @sarahpulvertaft
Oxfordshire Artweeks Open Studios which is one of my favourite annual events, a chance to welcome visitors into my workshop.
In normal times I'd have been preparing to open my workshop forSadly this year you won't be able to visit me, so I thought I'd try something new and throw my first Online Studio Sale (corks pop, fireworks, cornucopia etc!). I've loaded all my stock including some new designs onto the website so that you can see everything.
Seven Day Studio Sale
9am 29th April - midnight 6th May

I'll donate 10% of all online sales during this period to Helen and Douglas House hospice for babies and children. This wonderful charity is based in Oxford and relies on public donations for the majority of its income.
The sale code is Studio Sale and you'll be prompted to enter it at the checkout to activate the discount.
NB. The code will be active from 9am on Wednesday 29th April until midnight Wednesday 6th May.
Enjoy and Thank you!
Exhibitions Later in The Year
As this goes out the following exhibitions are scheduled to go ahead later this year and you might want the dates for your diary, I hope to see you later in the year!
Goldsmiths North 10th - 12th July at Cutler’s Hall, Sheffield
Crafts Alive Gloucestershire Guild of Craftsmen 9th - 13th Sept at Rodmarton Manor
Goldsmiths’ Fair 29th Sept - 4th Oct at Goldsmiths’ Hall, London
I’ll continue to give you a glimpse of life in the workshop on my Instagram feed @sarahpulvertaft
I hope you're keeping safe and well in these strange times.
Thank you very much to all of you who came to see Jed, Beatrice and me and our collaborative project at Collect 2020, we showed the 6 brooches we’d made together as LOT to an enthusiastic audience and it was lovely to have the opportunity to speak with so many people about pieces we'd been developing for the best part of a year. We were all set to exhibit again with Future Icons - The Future of Craft Selects at London Craft Week at the end of April but as I’m sure you know COVID-19 has understandably put all that on hold with all shows for the foreseeable future cancelled or postponed. I'll keep you posted about the rescheduling of London Craft Week.
You can still follow our collaboration as it continues on Instagram @lotcollaboration and I’ll keep you up to date with future individual and collaboration exhibitions in the months ahead.
In the meantime I’m continuing to work, more from home for the moment, although as my workshop is so isolated I have been working on some commissions and will keep making for as long as I can.
I’ve made some improvements to my website to keep you abreast of what I’m doing and what pieces I have in stock should you feel the urge to purchase jewellery. I’m still able to post out for next day delivery and will do so for as long as our fantastic postmen and women keep delivering! In particular I’ve added a section called Unique. Here I’ve gathered together pieces from across my collections, which are as the title suggests one of a kind. When a Unique item is sold it will not be repeated but its image will remain on the page to serve both as a catalogue of one off pieces and an inspirational resource should you be looking for something a little bit different.
As always you’re very welcome to get in touch with me to discuss any jobs that you might have been thinking about for a while, I’m happy to talk through ideas and sketch them up for you – there’s a gallery of selected past commissions on the website.
Thank you for your support and interest in my work and I hope to see you later in the year – in the meantime please stay safe and well X

Lovely blog post featuring LOT Collaboration www.ruepigalle.ca
LOT is a collaborative project between myself, jeweller Jed Green and embroiderer Beatrice Mayfield. In a process with echoes of the Surrealist parlour game Exquisite Corpse, we have created 6 brooches in our second project together, LOT2, whose theme is Colour.
We'll be exhibiting these new pieces at Collect Open at Collect 2020 presented by the Crafts Council.
